24/6/03 NEWS TO ALL PLAYERS- We require you to sign on by the end of July, this involves providing d.o.b, address and 1 to either myself or Stew. I am trying to sort us out with a friendly against Steeton for the end of July which will provide us with an opportunity to get this sorted. All been well we will have further friendlies against Horsforth Rangers and Fairweather and maybe that team that play from the Vic.

We have again been allocated pitch 3 at Marley for next season and have entered the County Trophy.  Nash has once again been kind enough to provide the club with over 1000 to cover pitch fees, insurance etc.

response from Steve Burns, WTFL:

Mick, I'm genuinely sorry to hear that. You were always one of the most
respected teams in the division, and everyone knows (not least us!) that you are in a false position. If you reconsider, I'm sure the league would love to have you back sometime in the future.

Best Wishes for the future anyway, whatever it holds,
Steve and all at HFFC.

Athletic have decided to pull out of the Wharfedale Triangle League next season and will move into the Keighley and Aire Alliance Sunday League.  The travelling and early kick off times (not to mention better teams!) have just proved too much this season and we have been a depleted bunch on far too many occasions.

It's been an enjoyable 4 seasons though and we hope to have contributed as much to the League as we have taken out of playing in it. Best wishes too all for the future, and we hope to meet some of you again in County competetions
