Where did the time go?  It seems like yesterday I was running free and playing with my brothers, sister and friends.  But as most girls know, ever under the watchful eyes of mommie and specially daddy.

I came into this world in the wee hours of 19 May, 1974. Born in the great state of Texas. Abilene to be exact. I had a wonderful childhood because I have the best parents any child could hope to have. They were strict yet extremely loving, giving us the guidance we needed and allowing us to form our own identities. I won't bore you with the details of my life. There is nothing bad to write about or any juicy secrets to disclose.  I had a happy,  uneventful and blessful life. I do have pictures to share with you all and I  hope you enjoy them.

My sister and I - mom always dresses us alike.

I always wanted a twin, so this was kind of like having one.

We played the usual games of Barbies, climbing trees, setting stuff on fire, you know the usual kid stuff.

My dad always knew how to make us laugh.

I remember playing games in the backyard, where my dad would have us run receiver routes while my

older brother, Kevin practiced his. My dad would finger draw it on the  football and we would go

out for the pass. It was so much fun. We had the best of the 'girl world and the boy world.'

Good 'ole chores! We had 'em, and boy we  didn't like them.                               Having fun at dinner. Remember how you didn't

When you are young, you still think it is fun, like we did here.                                like the peas and would either split them down the middle

Thought it was 'cool' to be a helper. My niece is in this stage now.                so it looked like you ate a bunch or hid it in the napkin. I was

a  skinny  little thing too until about 10th grade. I'll put those

                                                                                                                                                                on later.

Nothing is more special then a mother's love. I know                                    My sister and  I in Myrtle Bch just before my last year in H.S.

everyone always says their mom is the best. Well mine ranks                    The story behind this was about 2 days prior to this pic I  took her

up there with the highest. There is no #1 Mom. They are all                   to get her nose pierced and my dad was  livid. Got the whole spiel

special in what they give us. Who else can say they have                              of being the responsible, big sister and all.  My sister was always

known us intimately even before we have taken our first breath               like that. The first to do the hard things or crazy things. First to

of air. My mom is always there, sacrificing herself so we can                       move out, first to buy her own car, first to have a boyfriend...Rebel

get what we need when we need it. It's an awesome responsibility          without a cause...doodoo braids-remember those?, trendy

and  I hope Ray and I can do the same when God blesses                       haircuts, Cross Colors and other hip hop gear. Just always on the

us with some of our own.                                                                                               cutting edge.  Great  imagination and gifted in so many ways still

unknown to her, but we see it.

                                                                                                                                                       we see it.

Guess I was 6 in this picture. We were stationed in                                   Infamous Putt-Putt golf in Tallyho.

Mrytle Bch and if I'm remembering correctly, it was                                  I worked there my last year and a half

my second year as a cheerleader. the first year I was                                 in college.  Had great times there and all

a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. Remember the movie?                         the games one could play.  My sis came up

All I wanted was to be one of those girls.  Not shooting                     one week and stayed with me.  She was

very high was I? It was a great dream though.                                                 about 3 months pregnant with Alex and was

sick all the time!  We did go out and have fun.

   New Market, England. We had

   fun times there. Hide-and-go-seek,

   dodgeball, break dancing, popping,

and of course I was the mistress of

   lockin'.
