RULES - Yes, even though our RPG is original, it does have rules. Follow them, and you'll fit right in.
1. Each player may have up to three main or minor characters from any Final Fantasy story, and up to and including three minor chracters. Plus towns people and shop keepers are freebies, as you meet with them only once or twice.
Note: Made up characters are acceptable with as suitable profile/biography, and an authorization from the founder.
2. All powerfull chracters are strongly prohibited. This simply means that the character you control must be realistic; as realistic as they get in the Final Fantasy world.
3. Cursing in this RPG is aloud- as long as it's kept to a sane level. I don't need any of those 42 word sentences that explain how screwed up my mother is.
4. I have nothing against sexual-related content in the storyline. However like profanity, this must be kept to a moderate level.
ie: I do not want descriptive scenes wrote in the club (a quick summery should be good enough), nor do I want casual sex in every god damn post.
5. Time and distance do matter in this game. The time if takes to travel from point A to point B cannot be done in one post. Hellz no, unless it's a LONG, and I mean long post.
ie: Vivi is in trouble on the forgotten continute, and Zidane decides to attempt to save him. Here is what I don't want:
'Zidane runs to the dock and jumps in the nearest airship. Pioleting the Hilda Garde II, he lands near Vivi, defeats the evil people, saves Vivi, and leaves in style.'
6. The type of writing aloud is all 1st person, 2nd, and 3rd, but absolutly no script style. Are we actors? Nah uh.
ie:
Bob: I am Bob.
*Bob runs to Jack*
Bob: Hey Jack, I'm Bob.
Jack: Ok. Food is good.
Bob: Agreed.
*They run to deli for ham*
7. Leave something to the imagination. Characters, being real or made-up, must not give away every fighting skill, or strongest attack, fight people randomly, or tell their life story in a few posts. What makes an RPG interesting, is plot, and the more creative role player you are, the better.
8. Probably an important rule for keeping a club alive is the activity of the player. If the character does notRP with one week, the character will be open. This is for real ones only, of course. Made up ones, will meet certain doom. However if the player must take a lead of absence, please, tell me. We will find a way to work around you character until your return.
9. Have fun, and remember, though all the emotion this game flails up, in the end, it's just that, a game. You accepted the charges, pay the bill.
10. When you role play, I don't what players using other players character to speak or act, unless they have permission from the owner, or it is a minor character (like a soldier) that can be used by all players in the same scene.
