History: Since the age of 6, Cyrus has been of frequent interest in the labs. At such a young age, he would spend his time mostly in the labs with Professor Hojo and his team of scientits. Hojo took a strong liking to the boy, and Cyrus basically became his apprentice up until the age of 14, when Hojo started to demand to be alone, and not to be bothered. Although he was only a teenager, Cyrus was well beyond his years. Being involved with this type of work from a boy, he was just as well suited for the work as most scientists were, and was present in the early stages of Hojo's experiments with JENOVA, although he never quite understood what it was all about. When Hojo went mad, and President ShinRa was killed, Cyrus and his family moved out of Midgar to Kalm, and then Costa Del Sol. It wouldn't be until well after the ressurection of ShinRa Inc. in Neo-Midgar, would Rufus ShinRa hunt down Cyrus, and offer him Hojo's job.
