Title: General of the ShinRa Special Forces (Head of Military and Affairs)

Temperment: Short tempered, short fused; basically gets upset very easily, mostly when it concerns something that he deeply values. Is generally a kind person, but only a handfull of people could ever see this side of it.

Apperance: 6'4", 200+lbs, built-like a tank, dark skin, goatee, wears cut-up sleevless dark overshirt and dark pants w/ combat boots. Now adays he is usally dressed in uniform, although it has been altered slightly (ripped sleevless).

Skills: A natural born leader. An excellent fighter.

History: Since the break-up of Avalanche, and the world at peace, Barret returned to his home in Coral Village with his daughter Marlene. For a few years they lived in peace, and the village itself grew up out of its depression, and began to prosper as the world had continued to do so with the fall of ShinRa and Sephiroth. When plans of Neo-Midgar being constructed, Barrett was furious. He couldn't believe ShinRa was resurrecting itself. He left Coral briefly to go to where it was being built, and joined a small protest of people. It was soon disbanded as Neo-Midgar was being backed by most of the free world. Rufus had convinced everyone he had changed his ways, and Midgar was going to put the world into a great economy. Still skeptical, Barrett returned home and to his daughter, where he figured he should be. Still with Rufus speaking on the extracting of Mako, and how he had a new, more clean innovative approached, Barrett still cursed him. With little or no contact from the old team, he figured that maybe he was making a big deal out of nothing. No one else seemed to really care but him. So, he went back to living his life, making a fine living as a Black Smith and Defence Instructor for Coral. Years passed, and Barret had estamblished a small professional milita for Coral, to enforce peace in their home. Shit went to shit, and the war shortly broke up. They recieved little or no support from ShinRa at first, but managed to defend their village for a short time, amazed by others by how well they did at all. They were ultimatly captured, however, and the North Coral Brigaders (in which was headed by Barret Wallace) managed to escape their village, even though it went against every fiber in his body. He made his way to ShinRa HQ, and demanded Rufus help him. Of course, Rufus already had plans to liberate the village (not out of his own good heart, but because it was the Cult of Kefka). However he only agreed to do this if Barret would work FOR him, and be one of the top officers in his newly formed ShinRa Special Forces (created soley to defeat the Cult). Barrett agreed. Since the end of the war, Barret has been situated in ShinRa HQ as Head of Military and Affairs. Although doesn't really get along with the President, Barret has vowed to keep order, honorability, and truth within the SSF.
