Once upon a time, a long time ago, there were people who believed in laughter, love and joy. They believed in a great many things but above all they believed in nature, their mother Goddess and father God. Then came the time when laughter and freedom died. burnings and screams were forevermore in their dreams. fear taking the place of love and joy. Theses people accused of worshiping something they knew nothing about before, 'the devil.' For those people who were wise, hid in lies. denying that which they were for the fear and hate of the day. then came the turning of the tide, the truth christianity could no longer hide. Witches where not the 'devils' bride but people of the wise.
