The Creation Story:
"In the begining there was the Goddess. She was supreme and nurturing in all that was. The Goddess, being divine, created the earth. She carpeted the earth in the velvet of green grass, a sign of eternity. She planted tree's that bore fruit, a sign of her fertility. She was pleased.
As time went on, the Goddess sat alone in the heaven's. Her only companion in the heaven's was the moon and her only companion below her was the earth. The Goddess became lonely. As a result of her lonelyness, the Goddess cried tears of salt and water. The tears pooled together on the earth and became the oceans.
To cure herself of her loneliness, the Goddess impregnated herself with a seed. The seed was a life force. For ten full moons the Goddess carried the seed within herself. She gave birth to a son. Her son gave her warmth and happiness; thus, she placed the sun in the sky. The son of the goddess grew from seed to boy-god and then to God. The Goddess was very pleased.
With the seed of the God, the Goddess became fertile once again and the goddess carried the seed for another ten moons. The God became weak and started his dying process. As the sun grew weaker, so did the God and the hours of daylight weakened. The earth became cold and the God died.
The Goddess gave birth to the son. It was not another son, but the same son. The goddess nurtured the son from seed to boy-god and then again to god.
As a sign of the eternal process of life, the Goddess created the seasons: A time for seeding. A time for growing. A time for harvesting. A time for dying.
The Goddess was pleased with her eternal cycle of life. For every year that passes, the Goddess places a new star in the heaven's as a sign of her happiness."
This is not a belief in incest, but rather of the seasons of nature.
