![]() It's Christmas at the North Pole, and all of Santa's elves Are busy filling Santa's bag, and stocking Santa's shelves Rudolph's nose is polished, and ready for the flight That'll take his team around the world, all on Christmas night Mama's in the kitchen, (that's Mrs. Claus you know) In apron with her rolling pin, kneading cookie dough Baking Christmas cakes-she chuckles as she spies Eight new tiny reindeer, learning how to fly And like a good Mama, she makes them a special treat Tiny lil' reindeer snacks, to help lift them off their feet Returning to the kitchen---checking on her pies And mending Santa's coat, for Christmas eve is nigh Santa in his study---strokes his beard, snowy white And fumbles with his glasses, as he checks his list off twice A star for every girl-----for being extra good A check by every boy, for doing what they should All his busy helpers, are checking on the toys That'll be brought Christmas night, for all the girls and boys A doll that talks...........robots that walk---- And a train that goes "toot, toot, toot" A cat, a dog---------- A plush green frog And a scooter that will scoot, scoot, scoot And on the day of Christmas eve, the elves fill up his sleigh With packages and goodies----but before Santa gets underway He has one more thing to do---and calls his old, most dearest, friend To conjure up some Christmas magic, he summons Mr. North Wind "Could you muster up some magic, of good old fashioned cheer and send some of that white stuff, this towns been good all year" Before he can blink an eye, or twinkle his cherry nose Out of the sky, falls----------a white Christmas snow So he saddles up his sleigh, and kisses Ma goodbye With a hearty, "HO HO HO", he waves from the sky And through the drifting snow, Rudolph's nose glows bright As they dash away......dash away....into the Christmas night.
