    A Thanksgiving Wish

Let Thanksgiving ring out in our hearts- each and every day
Let His praise be upon our lips, let Him light our way
Let us gather round with family, kith, and with kin
And to those who have none, let us invite them in

Let us be a little kinder, and spread love throughout the year
And be willing to give a shoulder, and lend a caring ear
Let us share a smile with strangers, a warm friendly greet
For you could be entertaining angels, passing on the street

Let us be a blessing to everyone, into all lives lets sew
The cornucopia of love, that is abundant and overflows
Let us be kind with our words, and always willing to share
Let us remember our neighbors, each night in our prayers

Let our hearts swell with gratitude- for the blessings we behold
Let us take time to appreciate --autumns burgundy and gold
Let us glorify our Creator, in everything we do
Let us be thankful, not one day--but the whole year through.
