    To Live Down By The Ocean


    To live down by the ocean, so peaceful and serene
    To wake up to such lovliness, to live within a dream
    To sit and watch the seagulls glide, up in a blue
    celestial sky
    As time moves slowly.....slowly by
    To live down by the ocean

    To listen to the ocean, as the waves break and roar
    To watch the tide ebb and flow, as it rolls into the shore
    To sit upon the sand, while golden sunlight gleams
    Upon the jewels of the sea, that sparkle from her beam
    As the waves pull in ..then out again it reams
    To live down by the ocean

    To stroll along the beach, through a myriad of shells
    To revel in all the oceans, splendors, charms, and spells
    And to taste the sea's, warm salty spray
    To watch in the distance, dolphins at play
    To be kissed by the sunshines......bronze-golden ray
    To live down by the ocean

    To stand down by the ocean, as the sun sets in the west
    And watch the tumbling waves, tower and crest
    To hearken to the mermaids cry, and listen to their tales
    To gaze upon the ocean vast, and feel her moonlit gales
    To incline the ear to the mating call...mating call of the whales
    To live down by the ocean

    To wonder along the shoreline, where many soles have trod
    To stand beside the ample surf, to be in the presence of God
    To be graced with tranquilty, and caressed by the seas bubbling foam
    To be blessed with miles and miles,of white sandy beach to roam
    To someday..... call this place my home
    To live down by the ocean.
