Dedicated To God for all His goodness When I look around at all that I see The mountains, the desert, the ocean, and tree I thank God for the sight, to see Because God is good to me When I think of the beauty that surrounds me The changing of seasons ~ their potpourri I am thankful to God, for eyes to see Because God is good to me When I think of the smell, of Spring flowers And the way the rain smells, during April showers When I think of God and all his powers I am thankful for, God is good to me When I think of fireflies on a warm Summer's eve Lying in the grass, under the trees I am thankful, for life's simplicities Because God is good to me When I think of love and tranquility Dolphins at play--- in the sea I'm thankful to God, for such beauty Because God is good to me When I think of children outside playing And the boughs of trees, gently swaying I look to the Heavens- thankful and praying Because God is good to me When I think of a newborn baby's sigh Laughter, giggles, smiles, and cries I'm thankful for the happiness in our lives Because God is good to me When I think of my husband and family Good friends and time, I share with thee I am thankful to God, that he walks with me Because God is good to me When I think of all my answered prayers Gods blessings, and how much he cares I'm thankful for his son---- he shares Because God is good to me When I think of eternity and life that never ends My Lord and Savour, and my friend I'm thankful to God, in whom I depend Because God is good to me.
