Lesson One: Where do I get Web Space?

• Before anyone designs a website they must have a place on the web to put it.
  • For this course we will use Geocities.com
    • It has more than enough space for our needs.
    • Its own webpage building area-we will discuss page building (making a webpage) in the next lesson.
    • It is FREE!!
  • Click on Geocities.com , then click New User or Sign Me Up

  You should see a page that looks like this:

follow the directions. Then you will see this:

Your User ID and email will be different. You will need to check your email to activate your.

In your email, you'll find a message with link.

Click it  and follow the instructions. Before you go on to Lesson Two email me.
