Another year is upon us and, as most people tend to do, now is a good time to reflect over the past year and consider the year ahead.
2001 was a very fortunate, blessed year for the two of us. At the beginning of the year, Kylan was given a permanent position at the credit union and I started my first real job as a lawyer. We both still have those jobs and actually enjoy them. I feel especially lucky to be working from home!
We were also able to travel and visit with family and friends during 2001. We even had a few people visit with us as well. We look forward to getting back up to Toronto and down to Memphis sometime in 2002.
Of course, our greatest blessing and surprise (even to us) last year was buying a house. We had not intended to even look for a place of our own for another year or so. But a member of Kylan's credit union got us started and helped us with financing and all of the ins and outs of buying a home. Now we are loving every minute of living in our very own home.
