We hope you had a very Merry Christmas! Our first Christmas in our house was wonderful. It snowed a little on Christmas Eve so, although it was just a light dusting, we had a white Christmas. We awoke around 6:30am...don't ask me why, but we just couldn't sleep anymore! We had kept the radio on all night so we could "hear" Christmas music as we slept. First, of course, were the stockings which, because we now have a fireplace, were hung by the chimney with care. And St. Nicholas had been there! Then we opened all of the prezzies that friends and family had sent us. We received clothes, shoes, chocolates, books...all sorts of stuff. And my best friend Jane gave us something that completed our Disney Christmas tree...a Tinkerbell tree-topper. I think she's psychic...we had been looking for one but the Disney catalog was sold-out and I hadn't even told Jane that we were looking! We finished off Christmas morning with gifts to each other. Spirit was as spoiled as a child with toys and treats, as well as a new doggy bed. I gave Kylan a Black & Decker tool set he wanted (and needed), as well as a couple of PS2 games, martial arts supplies, and a few other goodies. Kylan gave me the Disney monopoly game I had wanted, a gorgeous hand-carved box, a Wonder Woman book, action figure and poster, and more. We were completely spoiled this Christmas!
