We have had our house for an entire week now. It's amazing how easy it has been to get used to it. We just feel so at home already.
Moving was quite a chore. We rented a U-Haul truck and convinced a couple of friends to help us out. We were actually able to get the big stuff done before 2:00 in the afternoon. For the rest of the weekend, Kylan and I made a few more trips back and forth with the remainder of our things. By Monday we were completely exhausted!
We have been unpacking things a little at a time and are getting ourselves settled in. We are going to try to get a chunk of the unpacking done on the weekend so that we can have our Christmas tree up by Sunday night. I really like the thought of spending Christmas in our own home this year.
The neighborhood we live in is great. The neighbors are very friendly and the street isn't busy at all. Plus, we have a cool little pizza parlor right around that corner. What more could you ask for in an Italian neighborhood!
