NATIVE AMERICAN-MELUNGEON
THE YOUNG EAGLE

Many years ago I heard the story of The Young Eagle. I heard the story from a Holy Man (Preacher). I was going through the trial of my life, and the story was my story.
The Preacher said that when an Eagle is young, and ready to become an adult, it would fly up to the high rocky places. It will hide itself in the rocks, and using its beak would pluck out its feathers, break off its talons, and finally break off its beak. The Young Eagle had to go through this process to become a mature adult Eagle. So that it could grow mature feathers, talons, and beak. During this time the Eagle was helpless before its enemies, before any predator. If God did not protect the Young Eagle during the time of its new growthit would perish. But God does protect the Young Eagle through this growing process so that it can take its rightful place in the world.
God impressed me at that time that I was the Young Eagle, being plucked and broken spiritually, and God was keeping me safe in the Rock-Jesus. I was helpless, and without His protection I would perish, but I had His protection. I was a broken Young Eagle, and I was broken so that new spiritual growth could take place, this process goes on, as I become a mature Christian-Eagle.
