Spike and Harmony (Cordy's bitchy'n'ditzy blonde friend) return. Buffy
steals Spike's Gem of Amara for Oz to take to Angel. Buffy sleeps with
Parker, only to have him completely ignore her afterwards.

Finally, a new Halloween episode! Buffy as Little Red Riding Hood,
Xan the Man as James Bond, Willow as Joan of Arc, Oz as God...Crazy things
are happening at the Halloween frat party. A cool idea, with the funniest
ending!

11/2/99
Xander, as the college pub's newest bartender, witnesses Buffy getting
smashed with some older classmates. Something in that Black Frost draft
makes them turn into cavemen! (Get it?) We finally see more of Veruca,
as the sultry singer of the band Shy, and Oz can't wait to jam with them.
Unfortunately, Willow is starting to see green. Oh, and Parker gets what
he deserves!

Turns out Veruca and Oz have A LOT in werewolf common, and things heat
up when they do the wild thing. Will Oz accept that he is an animal and

Spike is back, but not in the way he expects! Those scientists have
captured him and are starting their tests. Seems poor Spike is having performance
issues.:) I can't recall if this is the episode where we find out Riley's
real purpose at Sunnydale U, but I'd like to say I liked him a whole lot
more when I found that out!

11/23/99
Set your VCR's! Some Indians that originally owned Sunnydale's land
are back for what's theirs. Angel is back in Sunnydale and things get hot
and heavy between the separtated true loves on his show. (That one was
a definite 5.5 stake episode!) This is the Thanksgiving episode, so Buffy
tries her best job at playing mom to the gang. Even Spike joins in the
festivities.
4 stakes...It needed more Angel + Buffy screentime.
SOMETHING BLUE
11/29/99
Willow's angst over Oz leaving reaches an all time low. Her magical
powers have grown enormously though, and her unknowing casting of spells
have quite the effect on the Scooby Gang! Giles goes blind, Xander becomes
a demon magnet, and Spike and Buffy declare they are getting married! It's
about time a lighter episode was aired!

Some super spooky skeleton men steal everyone's voice in Sunnydale.
They don't want to hear you scream when they cut out your heart. Almost
a half an hour goes by without anyone speaking, and it is truly magical!
Buffy and Riley discover each other's secret identities. They also get
that first kiss out of the way! Olivia is back from England to spice up
Giles' love life.

too much responsibility slaying. Ethan Rayne is back, with a special spell
for Demon Giles.

Anya is becoming quite possessive of Xander. Buffy and Riley shag. Professor
Walsh is jealous of Riley and Buffy, so she decides to try and have her
killed. This backfires, and Prof Walsh bites the dust at the hands of her
own creation!

Riley questions Buffy's involvement in the Professor's death. He also
learns that the Initiative is not what he thought it was. Riley also suffers
withdrawal from the drugs Prof Walsh was feeding him. Meanwhile, Spike
is beat up for hanging with the Scooby Gang.

Jonathan, the geek from Sunnydale High, has been busy since graduation.
He now
is the master of his own parallel universe. We also meet Colonel
Haviland, the
new leader of the Initiative. I bet you were all thinking "What
the hell is going on?"
Well, just for that trick of the week, I'm giving it

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE
4/25/00
A party at Riley's house has everyone on Spanish Fly. Riley and
Buffy
spend the entire party in perpetual passion, while Anya and Xander
call it quits. Lots of Sixth Sense-like special effects, overall
it was very spooky.

5/2/00
OZ is back! He's been traveling the world, namely in Tibet where
he learned to quell
the wolf inside. He asks Willow back, but she is torn because
of Tara.
The Initiative captures Oz, and Riley risks their wrath to free him.

Buffy has no trouble choosing the man in her life when Angel and Riley
first meet this week. Spike joins Adam in his plan to get Buffy
away from the
Scooby gang. Misunderstanding abounds until they discover who
the real
Yoko is.

Special effects abound when Buffy
and the gang reunite
(literally!) to defeat Adam.

After the night they had in Primeval, each of the main
characters
fall into Lynch-esque dreams. Willow dreams of
a school play
in which she's in no way ready for. Xander may
shag "Buffy's mom,"
Giles uncovers that they may have brought something back
with them
after the magic spell worked, and Buffy meets the first
slayer.
Major foreshadowing for Tara's origins or role she will
play in the
gang's destiny in season five. I can't wait!
