On Thanksgiving, KC and his sister, Victoria, arrived about an hour prior to dinner. This gave us all a chance to get to know each other. I was so nervous because I had never been set up before in my life, especially a blind date type thing.
It took a while for KC to start talking, but once he got started, he didn't shut up... Probably because he was nervous too.
But a the end of the night I walked him outside (we were at my friends house) and shared a wonderful good night kiss.
We met up two days later to go out and have some fun. But let me tell you this "First Date" was not my idea of fun. He met me at the store (because I didn't know where
he lived. We drove from there to his house, where he learned that FSU had beat UF and that he was now richer by $500. So he started yelling like he won the lottery. Boy did I feel out of place.
After he calmed down, we left to play some pool. He started drinking as soon as he got to the bar(he was already drunk by the way). We left there and went to a club and he drank more there. By the end of the night, I ended up wearing one of his drinks and a HOT cup of coffe. So, not fun.
But to make a loooong story short, we got past that. Errr, I got past that. We moved out and into our own place in April of 2004. Financial troubles required that move back to our parents, but he is now living with me at my parents. We are not planning on moving until I find out if I get accepted into Flagler College. We feel that there is no need to move twice. We'll just stick it out. Besides it's not that bad.
