Welcome to a time long ago in a galaxy far, far away ... the galaxy of
STAR WARS, the original role playing game published by WEST END GAMES, lets players experience the vast scope of the STAR WARS universe first-hand.  Whether flying a faster-than-light spacecraft or trading blaster fire with Imperial stormtroopers, the thrill is in adventuring in the far away galaxy of STAR WARS.

Back when the game first came out in October 1987, I was completely enamored with it.  The idea of writing whole new stories and participating with others in my passion for the movies really excited me.  Shortly thereafter, my friends and I created a whole new STAR WARS mythos, set between the fourth and fifth episodes (i.e. before EMPIRE STRIKES BACK) with a cast of new characters created by my friends.  The resulting years were a lot of fun.

My players and their characters:

Shawn Coffey      - Costiki Belor - Duros ex-pirate
Jeremy Downing  - Lern Silverspeed - Rebel Spec Ops
Jeremy Downing  - Xyntil - Alien mystic healer
Kimble Foster     - Kyle Renner - Human gambler
Kimble Foster     - Thanos Alpha - Genetic hybrid warrior
Scott Gann          - Damien - Tatooine bounty hunter
Chris Westerman - Darce Sustar - Young Jedi
(Eric Campbell    - Omri "Sparks" - Yelsain ranger kid)
(Russell Hammonds - Haro - Rebel pilot)

Linking them together was a lot of fun, especially since they started as two separate groups and literally ran into each other.  Once banded together, the team became like an informal family.  We played out 18 episodes facing off against the evil Galactic Empire, where we finished in the midst of our last adventure back in 1996, on the Planet of the Mists
