YOU ARE MY FRIEND
You are my friend
trusted and true,
And this is for everything
and all that you do.
When the light seems so far
and times are so low,
you reach out your hand
give me a place to go.
When I find I can't make it
and the mountains too high,
You give me your wisdom
and help me to try.
You've given me hope
in times of dispair,
You do this for me because
I know you care.
You make me laugh
when there are no smiles,
Even though we're seperated
by the miles.
So let me tell you this
my very good friend,
if you ever need me
I'm here til the end.
I give you my love
my hand and my heart,
And from your friendship
I will never part.
For everything
and all that you do,
I want you to know
I'll do the same for you.
So when your days are black
and your nights are long,
And it seems like
everything will go wrong.
I'm there by your side
your never alone,
I'll be there for you
to help lead you home.
And so my friend
as you can see,
You are very special
especially to me.

WHAT IS A FRIEND
A friend is one who makes you smile
with the little things they do,
And even though they may not know it
it means the world to you.
A smile here, a kind word there
a look that says I care,
A friend will always let you know
for you they will be there.
They laugh with you, and cry with you
through times of good and bad,
They never let you feel alone
when you are feeling sad.
The little secrets that they share
and only tell to you,
Will always stay between two friends
because their trust is true.
They never let you forget
the silly things you do,
For they will be the memories
whenever they think of you.
A friend is one who will always stay
forever in your heart ,
and because of the love that they share
they'll never be apart.
So if you ever have a question
as to if your friend is true,
You only need look into your heart
and you'll see the both of you.

I THINK OF YOU OFTEN
I wake up each morning
and try to look at the day,
as if it will all
go my way.
When things don't look right
and the sun does not shine,
I think of a friend
and know things will be fine.
No matter how busy your day
and what you might do,
The thought of good friend
is always good for you.
So I wake up each day
with this thought in my mind,
And I know you are out here
and this is what I find....
True friendship does hold
a place in your heart,
and the thought of a friend
helps you get a good start.
To start my day right
and have things go my way,
I think of you often
each and every day.

In one's lifetime you may be so lucky
as to meet someone that makes a difference in your life.
When there is a click and a bond of the heart
you know that this friendship is meant to be.
The little things in a friendship you take for granted
suddenly become important things
that you see much more clearly.
Your heart feels lighter and you know
you'll never have to be alone again,
because a true friend is always there with you
right up until the end.
As the years go by, and some things may change,
the bond that you made is never lost,
but always right there in your heart.
