| Why call it the BTC Baseline? The reason lies in the meaning of the word baseline - a line serving as a base or boundary. This newsletter is meant to provide ideas and information on all levels and examine various baselines to follow in order to accomplish and achieve our goals. The name also has a sports connotation. Except for rare occasions, we don�t deal with life and death issues. Business is a game with rules that we play to win to the best of our ability. Our day-to-day responsibilities are relatively important but not ultimately important. Sports analogies fit very well in the sales and marketing arena - pun intended. Unlike comparisons to war, which simply have no place in business for several reasons and are not used in the BTC Baseline. |
