Spelling Three times each Example: would would would ABC order: Hint write the alphabet on the top of your paper. Cross off the words as you use them! Sailboats: Practice out loud as you write: w wo wou woul would After writing the word, draw a triangle and add the boat if you would like :-) Sentences: Write each word in a sentence. Make sure of capital letters and an ending mark (puncuation). Also, be sure to underline your spelling word. How much do your words cost? HINT: Write the alaphebet at the top of your paper. Under each letter write how much it costs. EXAMPLE: A B C D ... Z $.01 $.02 $.03 $.04 ... $.26
b = $.02 a = $.03 d = $.04 $.09 Word Scramble Create a "word box" at the top of your paper. Then, scramble each word and write them in a list. Next to each scrambled word, give a short clue for someone to be able to figure out your word! EXAMPLE: getting house dollar 1. esuho - people live in one 2. ladrol - money amount 3. tngtieg - going somewhere Acrostic Write your spelling words down. Then, think of a different word or phrase for each letter that goes with your spelling word (if possible). EXAMPLE: kids flying at the park everywhere Syllables Write your spelling word once, then write it again and break it into syllables.
