Saturday, October 11, 2003- Valley Forge National Park- Caesar took the Gold home. We thought ahead and brought along the donated stroller from K.C's boss, so when Caesar pooped out, we would not have to carry him like that day at the Norristown Farm Park. A 3 mile walk is a lot for a fat dog! Caesar played Evel Knievel and took a 360 front flip out of the stroller to play with another dog, but quickly learned his lesson and stayed put. I wish I had someone to push ME around! The highlight of the afternoon was not Mike getting stung by a bee, but the Costume Contest! We were disappointed after the loss at Pugfest the week before (look out next year Bob the Builder!!) so we had to avenge last weeks loss. Caesar ruled the show ring as The Emperor of Rome - and took home the BLUE RIBBON, along with a large stuffed quail??? All hail Caesar!!!
