The six had officially woken up around noon. Taylor and Amy went into the kitchen to fix lunch. They returned with a huge basket, "We thought it would be fun to go down to the park to eat," said Amy.
The walk to the park was fairly short. There were a few families there, but it wasn't crowded. Kevin sprawled out on the blanket and chomped away at his peanut butter sandwich. Amy laid down perpendicular to him with her head resting just above his stomach. "Are you guys free tonight?" asked Amy.
"Yeah, but we gotta get up kinda early tomorrow for the charity basketball game," replied Nick sitting down next to Taylor on the grass.
"What did you have in mind Ames?" asked Kevin.
"We could go to the 'happiest place on earth'," said Amy.
"Gee, I thought we were already there," replied Brian putting his arm around Angela.
"Ha... ha," said Taylor turning to Amy. "That's a great idea."
The rest of the afternoon droned on. Brian and Angela walked over to the playground. They sat side by side on the swings. They carried on a quiet conversation. "So what have you been up to since you left Florida?" asked Brian.
"Working in the offices at Disneyland and missing you mostly," she replied.
"I've missed you too. This week will be great," he said. Brian grabbed the chain to Angela's swing and pulled it toward him. He kissed her gently at first, then more intensely as he lined up the two swings.
Kevin and Amy relaxed on the blanket in the sun. "I read the article about you flying with the Blue Angels. I'm glad you didn't tell me about it before. It would have scared me to death... Was it fun though?" asked Amy shifting her head to look at him.
"It was so incredible. The force was a bit much, but the view and the experience was amazing."
Taylor and Nick remained on the grass talking. "So have you missed me?" asked Nick picking pieces of grass.
"No," she replied grinning smugly.
"Oh really?" he replied as he started to tickle her.
Eventually they gathered up their things and went back to the girls' house.
Angela, Taylor, and Amy dressed up in skirts. The guys went back to their hotel to change. Half an hour later they were prepared to go.
