Religion in Kazujisha

Kazujishans follow the traditional religion, called Inikyela (which means religion in general, but is usually Kazujisha religion) or Talevale inikyela (Talevale is the Mother of the Entire World in the religion). It is regulated by the Rah Madrinase, "High Temple", which is lead by two Reverena (the highest priests of the Inikyela), one male and one female. The current Reverena are Tláhan Shimetarin (the male) and Anosaha Tajunzhikatl (the female).

Priesthood

Most Talevalean priests are like ordinary people other than their calling as a Priest. Priests come from different families, families that have been priests for generations. Those who seek to become priests but are not of such a family have to be adopted by one. It is indeed a legal adoption (called a Priest Adoption, Madergakametla), but as this choice is usually made in adulthood, it doesn't mean that the newcomer priest has to live with the adopting family. Instead, he or she is only taught by the family. Usually such education is performed in temples or monasteries.

A few families have sex restrictions. Females cannot be adopted by the Shimetarin, males can't be adopted by the Tegutitlan. However, a child of "wrong sex" who is born within such a family may actually become a priest of that family.
