Kazakhstan
in Touch
My husband & I are so very blessed with our two beautiful children born in Kazakhstan. We both feel that we would like to keep up-to-date with what is happening with both the status of adoption in Kazakhstan, as well as Kazakhstan itself. The only way to do this is to subscribe to some of the bigger bulletin boards as well as read Internet sites that have electronic versions of Kazakh newspapers. This takes a great deal of time and effort and as some of you are aware, there are a lot of repeated questions on the bulletin boards that one must wade through. As a stay-at-home Mom who has interest in what's happening in Kazakhstan, I do find some time to do this and probably print off at least an article a day. The adoption environment is constantly changing so the bulletin boards are very busy.

This has led me to think that there must be a market for a product that summarises relevant information and provides it to a group of subscribers at a set interval for a small fee. Time is precious and I am sure many parents would be interested in gaining pertinent information on Kazakhstan if just the highlights were presented. I have decided to offer a type of  "news clippings' service", which includes current relevant information relating to Kazakhstan and adoption in Kazakhstan. For the former I will include news on Kazakhstan, with a synopsis of relevant articles plus the web address. I will also try my best to find an article in the week related to adoption in Kazakhstan. For the latter I will have an editor's section where I will list anything of interest that I have read. I will also add from time to time a short piece on a Kazakhstan custom's / traditions.

Hopefully this newsletter is something adoptive parents might want to print off and file, to give to their adopted child one day as an additional source of information on their birth country.

Please read some of the samples of the newsletter under "Newsletter Examples" as well as the terms for receipt of the newsletter. I look forward to hearing from you.

Take care
Ashley
