Archived Updates - January 04 to August 05
                                                          13 January 2006

Well it has been a long time since the last updates.  I have been busy with breeding season and the Christmas, New Year period and have found very little time for getting onto the internet.  A few new things have happened at the stud since the last update.

To start with the stud welcomes it's newest member, Kayuga Park Harvey (Pend).  He was born on the 29 October 2005 (only one day late) at the decent hour of 8.30pm.  He is by Indian Sun out of my jet black Australian riding pony mare, Ebony 'n' Ivory.  He is a very lovely fellow who at this stage is growing very fast and big, he might even over take his Mum.  Please go to the
Foal page to view photos of Harvey.

There was also two foals (with one still due in Feb) from outside mares born.  Indian Suns first purebred foal was born in October.  Mo is a bay colt owned by Patsy and Warren of Karrs Springs Arabians.  Patsy and Warren bred him with Endurance in mind for his future.  Photos of both outside foals can also be viewed on the
foals page.

This years breeding season also went very well.  I have three of my mares defiantly in foal, one outside mare defiantly in foal and two outside mares yet to be confirmed.  Henley Farm Barrani and my TB mare Blandford Queen have both been tested positive in foal to Indian Sun.  My TB mare Astro Flower has been tested positive in foal to the outside stallion Wimsey Joshua.  Toohey as he is known is owned by Darryl and Stephanie King of Shanadarr Arabians.  Toohey is a qualified Endurance Stallion.  For photo's or further info on Wimsey Joshua please go to
Shanadarr Arabians Web site.

The Endurance team for this year has been chosen.  The team will consist of three horses (time permitting).  They will be Leechdale Prince Shazzam (qualified), Dacelo Park Belle (qualified) and new comer Kayuga Park Minnie (Novice).  Most of my time will be spent campaigning and training Prince so I am looking for someone who wishs to have a horse to campaign to help out.  In return I will pay for all the expences involved in campaigning a horse also can offer agistment for one horse if you have your own.  If you are interested please contact me.

Thats about it for the updates for now but please check back soon as I will endeavour to keep it updated more often.  I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.

                                                   3 NOVEMBER 2007

Well it has been a very long time between updates.  Alot has happened since the last update.  Unfortently due to the drought we have had to cut back our horse number in a major way.  We have cut back from 14 horses to 6 with a 7th about to be purchase.  We had to sell alot of very much loved horses.  But hopefully they have all gone to good homes and will be looked after and loved as much as they were loved with us.

So basically now the stud consists of the below horses:

Indian Sun - 100% Crabbet Stallion
Henely Farm Barrani - Purebred mare - Broodmare and Qualified Endurance horse
Kayuga Park Harvey - Partbred Gelding
Kayuga Park Sharni - Purebred Filly
Leechdale Prince Shazzam - Partbred Gelding
Dolly - Aged Quarter horse mare

We are also in the process of purchasing a Pure Crabbet mare and her details will be on the sight as soon as we have purchase her.  Unfortunetly due to the EI we will have to wait until restrictions are lifted before we can pick her up.

Regarding EI our horses have managed to make it through ok.  We are currently in the purple zone and our horses were in infected back in early September (transferred by the wind).  Everyone handled it differently but they are all ok now.  Any riding horse will now have the rest of the year of.

The stud is also now located in Londondery in the Hawesbury area.  We had to relocate due to personal reasons but all is good now and we welcome to the Stud a new partner, Scott Vidler.  We have recently gotten engaged and he is very keen on helping out and learning all the stud process's.  When Scott and I met he had no horse experience at all but he is now very confident with the horses and loves them as much as I do.  Hopefully we will both be out and about soon and catch up with all my Endurance friend.

Anyway check back for updates as I will try and keep it updated.
