Site
d'Alene Manor was created in June 98. The main page to the site was called
simply ":)Krista:)" and was about the real life person Krista Michelle. It had a
link which went to a different page which was about the animated series "Gargoyles" by Disney. This page featured the
1/2 gargoyle, 1/2 human character Kristia d'Alene. This secondary page
was called d'Alene Manor.
Somewhere around Fall 98 the ":)Krista:)" page and "d'Alene Manor" page
were switched.
d'Alene Manor became the main page of the site, while the ":)Krista:)"
page was only a secondary page.
Over the next months more pages were made and added onto d'Alene Manor.
In February 99 the Gargoyles Art Webring was made and people started joining.
In
late July 99 d'Alene Manor got its first major renovation since back in 98.
The main page had always been centered around the character Kristia
d'Alene (and even had a picture up of her), this was changed. Kristia was
no longer the focus of the site and any evidence of her was taken off
the main page (so in turn the site was no longer centered around just
gargoyles). The site still kept its origional name however.
In the spring of 2002, the site underwent another drastic change. Angelfire discovered that I had opened a second account (called ak2/kayhines2) and was using it solely to store images. They deleted this directory, making me lose most of my artwork and personal photos. "The Gargoyles Art Webring" which had been ran from here was deleted. So were all other webrings that this site was a member of.
In summer of 2004, the website received it's own domain name (www.kristamichelle.com) and was moved over to geocities.com.
Spring of 2006, I finally paid geocities the extra money to take those ugly ads off of my site ;)
