Campsites
On our first night of the expedition we camped in the grounds of Letterfinlay Lodge Hotel, who had kindly agreed to let us stay there and use their facilities for no cost. The hotel is an old Victorian building which is family run. You can also visit for bar meals.

For our second night we camped at a more commercial site, called Rubha Ban Campsite. This is situated above a beach on the loch, where it's possible to leave boats. However I'd suggest pulling the boats a long way up the beach, as the weather can change suddenly. There is a shower in each of the mens' and womens' blocks, and also a bar/recreation building. We also made use of the camper's shelter, where it's possible to cook in case of bad weather.
On our third night we camped on some land by the loch side, belonging to Borlum Farm Caravan and Camp Site, Drumnadrochit. The campsite itself is situated in the other side of the road, and has showers etc and is the ideal place to stay if you like horses! We found the owners very friendly, however I was informed that they will no longer be allowing people to camp where we did, as people before us had made a mess.
