Science education is extremely important
in our middle and high schools. Science is progressing rapidly and we need
to keep teachers informed so the students will learn up-to-date facts and
be qualified for college or the workplace.
My name is Kim Geier and I am a graduate of the College of William and Mary. I am certified to teach Biology and Chemistry, and almost certified in Earth Science. I am currently teaching in Campbell County at Brookville High School.

Here is an example of some work that I have done. It is a research paper about teaching evolution in the classroom. I also created my own web quest at the VSTE conference held in Roanoke in March 2000.
For my Monroe project this summer I participated in an Earthwatch research project on hummingbirds in the Andes
