How to roleplay

Role Playing is where your wrestler talks on the role-playing board. He would normally talk about what has happened lately which may concern his wrestler, and also talk about what he thinks about the wrestler he is going to wrestle on the next show. The wrestler also can ask for matches on the role-playing board, and if the other wrestler accepts, then it is up to Vince or Mick Foley if the match should go ahead. In Role Plays YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FIGHT ANY WRESTLER UNLESS YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF THEM.

A Good Role-Play would be:

"If you smell what the Rock is cooking" hits the P.A. as 'The Great One' walks down the ramp, into the ring and gets the microphone off Lillian Garcia.

Finally, The Rock has come back to New York City!

The New York fans pop at the mention of their great city.

Now The Rock wants to talk about what happened last week on Smackdown. The Rock got screwed by Triple H, and one thing about that was that The Rock lost his title, to his so called good friend The Undertaker.

The fans boo at the mention of Rock losing his title.

The Rock wants revenge on Triple H and also wants a re-match with the undertaker, so Vince you go along and book this match or you will get the biggest ass whopping laid out by the people's champion. So the fact of the matter is that The Rock walked into Smackdown having the title on his shoulder and walked out being screwed by Triple H and The Undertaker. So Triple H get that little game of yours, box it up, shine it up real nice and then turn it sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass. Taker you can go back and be a dead man in the back and keep that world title nice and warm for the great one.

IF YOU Smelllll what The Rock is cooking!!!!!!.

The Great one leaves to the fans chanting ROCKY,ROCKY!

Here a colour scheme was used to separate The Rock talking and the description of what was happening.  We'll get onto HTML next.

HTML

Adding colour.

To change the colour of text you use HTML.  HTML is what builds websites.

Firstly you should know that HTML is written in American spelling so it's "color" not "colour" etc.
Secondly, here I left spaces before and after the "<" and ">".  When writing HTML leave the spaces out.

< font color="red" >
Gives you red text
< font color="blue" > Gives you blue text
< font color="green" > Gives you green text

And so on and so forth.  There are many different shades of the colours available so if you happen to find a HTML colour chart somewhere on the web then you'll be able to use any colour you want.

You can also change the size of the font.

< font size="3" >
Gives you medium sized text
< font size="1" > Gives you the smallest text
< font size="5">
Gives you big text

Size ranges from 1 to 7.  Sizes "2" and "3" are the ideal size for roleplays.

And you can even change the style of the font.

< font face="Verdana" >
Gives you Verdana style text
< font face="Tahoma" > Gives you Tahoma style text
< font face="MS Sans Serif" > Gives you MS Sans Serif style text

You can change all at once by trying this.

< font face="Verdana" color="red" size="3" >
Gives you text like this

To stop typing in any kind of style you use:

< /font >

To make underlined text you use this code.

< U > Underlined text! < /U >

For bold text you use this code.

< B > Bold text! < /B >

For Italics you use this code

< I > Text in Italics!  < /I>

Text Positioning is another form of HTML.  You can change the positioning of your text using this code.

< p align="left" > Means your text will align down the left hand side of the page.

< p align="right" > Means your text will align down the left hand side of the page.

< p align="center" > Means your text will be centered.

Adding pictures is also easy.

< IMG SRC="url of picture" >

You cannot link a picture from your desktop, it must be hosted somewhere on the internet otherwise other people will not be able to see it.

Using pictures in roleplays always makes them more enjoyable but going overboard and putting in 20 pictures per roleplay gets annoying and for people using 56K modems, it will take a while to load, so don't overdo it!

That about covers all you need to know about HTML for your roleplays.

Dictionary

Here are some words you might hear and not understand so I will explain them for you.

Face: Good guy
Heel: Bad guy
Job: Lose

That should be all you need to know.

Words of advice

When writing your roleplays, write them in word or some other word processing package and save them to your computer!  Then copy and paste your roleplay onto the roleplay board.

The Roleplay Board could crash and you could lose your roleplays and have to start over with a new one, so always keep a backup on your hard drive.

Use good spelling, grammar and punctuation.  These all count towards the quality of your roleplays, it makes them seem more professional and makes it easier to read.  Don't write your roleplays the way you talk to your friends on messenger.

Good = You are going down!
Bad = U r goin dwn!

However, if you control a wrestler who has a type of accent then you can subtract letters and put apostrophes in their place, i.e. "I'm gonna whip your ass!" or "I'm goin' to whip your ass!"

One last thing, keep swearing to a minimum, the worst language you get on WWE programming is bitch and bastard, and to be honest it's way overused in WWE.
