Another tap on the shoulder and the same question only pointed at a surfer this time…. “What do you mean what is he doing Adam he’s surfing…duh!” Only this time he holds the camera down to the ground…..and then I got it…..except not completely. There was still that moment where you are not really sure you have it but you’re pretty sure you know. So I sat, so very still. Adam quickly began talking about all the things we have done together, from hockey to travels, and all the memories we have made. Then reaching into his jacket pocket Adam tells me that he wants to spend the rest of his life making memories with me. Then, with the sun dipping below the horizon in front of us, Adam showed me the ring and asked me to marry him...
