Our Engagement (2/4)
We were planning on staying for sunset, so with arms loaded of food, jackets, binoculars, and well of course my camera we settled down for lunch. As we were sitting talking about people walking by, how we loved traveling, how it was the best weather we have had in visiting San Diego, Adam quickly decided he was rather chilly and quickly explained that he must have forgotten his jacket in the car and that he was headed back to retrieve it. So, as I sat there by myself looking around at the ocean, the waves, the people and the surfers…I spotted Adam’s arch nemesis my camera. Well, Adam was gone, so I thought hmmm I have to capture this most radiant sunset on film! So as I sat on the beach snapping away, totally and completely absorbed in creativity, I did not even feel that a warm body had appeared next to me. Until, Adam whips out a journal which we had been keeping. He starts talking about all the places we’ve traveled and the fun times we have had and how on the plane over he had written down ten memories and so now he would like it if I did the same. |
