or dock here if you arrive via the Trent-Severn Waterway.

The Trent water system drains in a southerly direction into Lake Ontario. The drainage system consists of the highlands of Haliburton and the northern parts of Peterborough and Hastings Counties. It empties via the Kawartha Lakes and Otonabee and Trent Rivers.

Region Map Meandering 386 km across Central Ontario, the Trent-Severn Waterway links the Bay of Quinte (eastern Lake Ontario) with Georgian Bay. It is divided into five main regions: 
Trent, Otonabee, Kawartha, Talbot and Severn
