The Cast TY-LI Character Name: Ty-li a'Faran te'Ly-an Gender: Female Species/Race: Elf Age: 130 Birthplace/World: small village outside Govannan PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS Ty-li is short for elvish standards, standing just under 5'4''. She has very pointy ears that are mostly hidden under long brown hair-which is sometimes in a braid, but often hangs down or in pigtails(Sometimes even BRAIDED pigtails). She has vivid ice-blue eyes. Ty-li has a small, slightly pointed noise over a never-ending smile. She is a very pretty little. Ty-li wears forest colors (greens and browns) that help her to remain unseen. She is normally seen with a bow and quiver slung over her shoulder, and a dagger strapped to her ankle, whose tip can be seen glinting in the sunlight. (She also has one on each wrist, but those aren't as visible under her long sleeves.) Ty-li wears knee-high leather boots (Like moccasin leather) that are hidden under her loose pants. When Ty-li walks, she takes small, quick strides with her head held high, usually talking or laughing with a friend. If Ty-li is in a really good mood, she'll skip to her next destination... giggling about her 'bouncing pigtails!' Strengths: Despite her young age, Ty-li is very smart. She's quite agile and skilled in archery. She is decent in hand-to-hand combat is well. Ty-li is very smart and quick on her feet. She's also one of the best at playing games like hide-and-seek in the trees because of her ability to move silently. Ty-li is also really good at twirling her knives and juggling them- things she does in her spare time. Weaknesses: Despite owning three, Ty-li is horrbile when using blades in combat. The knifes she owns are used more for tricks. Ty-li also sucks at horseback riding. MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS Current Goal/Purpose: Ty-li wants to see the world around her and learn about the humans who inhabit it along with her. Talents: Ty-li is really good at understanding people. She also has an awesome shot with a bow. Inabilities: Ty-li cannot, for the life of her, win at the "no-laughing" contests. Fears: Ty-li fears sneaking up on her... she would be helpless. General Personality: Ty-li is full of laughs and smiles. She can be quiet and laid back, but she prefers rushes of energy. For this reason, she set off away from the elfs on her own to explore the world. Because of her quick smile and easy personality, Ty-li makes friends fast and keeps them for long times. She's slow to anger and very quick to forgive and forget. It takes a lot to get under her skin. There aren't many things that can make her cry. Inner Personality: Ty-li is unsettled. Despite the outer smile, inside she's usually lost. She has had many guys ask for her hand, but never knows how to go about telling them no. Her parents want her to marry, but she doesn't. Secret: Ty-li is afraid of commitment, especially one that will last the rest of her life. For this reason she isn't married yet. Her other secret is that, unlike the story she gives, Ty-li ran away from home. More: Once she gets out into the human world, she discovers that she loves it, and for the most part, the people she meets as well. Ty-li also has a falcon, with whom she hunts, his name is Prince Ted. HISTORIC BACKGROUND General History: Ty-li was born in a small treehouse in a small village just outside Govannan. She made friends easily and, though she was never one of the "popular girls", she was never lacking for company- whether it be male or female. Ty-li read every book her parents owned as well as almost all of the ones in their school library. If not out with a guy or hanging with her girls, she could always found in a sunny spot with a book or out hunting with Prince Ted (the falcon). After her 129th birthday, Ty-li started to wonder more about herself and the people who lived outside her small village. Three days after her birthday, an older elf came to her parents to ask for her hand in marriage. Ty-li pleaded with her parents to say no, but they dismissed her 'youthful whims and childish fantasies' and agreed to have her married. Ty-li plotted and planned up until the week before the wedding so she could escape. Finally, the night before, she stole out of the house with Prince Ted and made a run for it. Present life: Ty-li is hiding from anybody who might recognize her as the bride-to-be of a pompous elf. She has been basically wandering from town to town, seeing the places she read in her books. With Prince Ted, she doesn't lack for food, or trading items with the humans in order to buy the things she needs. (i.e. furs from the animals they hunt) Ty-li is in the process of writing a book about the habits of the humans that she observes. Special Historic Notes: Ty-li found Prince Ted after he had fallen out of a tree five years ago. |
