The Cast EAVAN Character Name: Eavan Orenda Gender: Female Species/Race: Human Age: 16 Birthplace: Layor Occupation: Doesn't currently have one, but when she can, she likes to help the swordsmaster teach his students. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS General Apperance: Eavan is of average height, she is around 5'6"-5'7". Her hair is a distinct gold color with streaks of red. It is curly and long, she keeps it back and out of her face, only wearing it down for special and family occasions. Her brown eyes are large and her skin is of a pale complexion dusted with freckles. She has a graceful walk, and walks with the air of one of the royal family's, though she tries her best to hide it. Eavan likes to get out of the royal life and hates wearing all the pretty clothes, and tries to get away with wearing simple "peasant clothing." Her facial expression is not always smiling, but she isn't frowing either, it is more of a complacent expression. She is normally relaxed and calm, and appears so. Being trained by a family sensei and a palace swordsman, she carries a sword with her, hanging off the side of her hip. The hilt is engraved with her family crest and her family's colors. Strengths: Remaining calm in strenuous situations, being practical, fighting with a sword and her hands and legs, she is good at academic questions and at disguising herself. Weaknesses: Eavan is blunt and spontaneous sometimes and this gets her into trouble, another weakness of hers is telling lies, she cannot lie at all. MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS Current Goal/Purpose: She just wants to get away from all the serious royal life for a while and go on an adventure of her own, and take risks. Talents: Fighting, academics, riding horses, and negotiating with people, disguising herself and being polite. Inabilities: Lying, growing up around truth has its effects. She also can't make choices quickly, also expressing her feelings is hard for her. Fears: Fire and death. General Personality: Eavan is outgoing and kind to even the worst of people. She has incredible patience with everyone and is loyal to her family and city. She has a calm and noble air around her. She is very hard to anger and quick to forgive. Always polite and courteous, she rarely thinks of herself. She is struggling to somewhat hide her name so she can get away for a while. Eavan is a good person to has as a friend, always faithful and true, she'll help you in everything. Inner Personality: She is scared and quite shy, lost and unsure of her decisions and always worries if they are the right choices. She is very impatient with people and is not polite at all, correcting them left and right and ordering them around. Eavan rarely likes to let this personality show. Secret: Her fear of death and fire, she usually tries to hide and accept it, but she is very scared of it herself and doesn't let other people know of it if she can help it. HISTORIC BACKGROUND General History: Eavan was born to her two parents and was a cousin to the Royal Family. Thus, she has never really known what it is like to live in poverty, though she has some idea. She was brought up strictly and her adventurous nature never ceased to get her in trouble. Her parents had her taught by the best scholars and she excelled in all of their lessons, studying and doing her best. (Perhaps it was also so she could finish early and sneak out). Her parents worked in and around the palace, and were there for Eavan throughout most of her life. They wanted her to grow into a proper court lady and discouraged her sneaking out, punishing her whenever she was caught. They always taught her that good will always prevail and that she should never believe otherwise. Eavan's mother did not like the idea of her sword training and martial arts, but agreed to it when Eavan proved how it could be useful. As she got older, Eavan saw her parents less and less, as they got busier and she was older and more able to be on her own. Present Life: Eavan still sees her parents every once in a while, but even less than she did the last year. She doesn't mind it that much, as it is easier for her to adventure around and learn more things about the villages and her swordsmanship. Sometimes it bothers her though that she has no one to really talk to about her feelings. It builds up and her temper will flare every once in a while from the load of it. Eavan still takes lessons from the scholars, but doesn't take them as seriously anymore, as she wants desperately to escape this high society life and meet new and different people and experience different things. Special Historic Notes: Eavan has never really had any close friends. Her relatives are too young or too old for her and she rarely meets any girls or guys for that matter that she can get close to. Eavan also had an accident one year, riding a horse and fell, getting a diagonal gash down her left arm, that circled, sort of like a bracelet. It has since healed, but left a bracelet-looking scar.
