Self Confidence

What is self confidence? It defines that we should strongly believe in our heart and mind, that we have the ability to achieve what we want in our life, our true vision, stand unshaken no matter what arises, believe we are prepared to deal with all kind of problems and bravely facing it in our life.

Life may be dark, difficulties may come, opportunities may slip by unutilized, our family may forsake us, good fortune may seemingly desert us, all the forces of man and nature may be arrayed against us, but never loose our confidence, and never within ourselves say “I am useless” or “I cannot” or “God has forsaken me”. Remember:  such words must be eliminated from our life.

The root cause of our failures in life is lack of self confidence. We already set up in our mind that we are weak mortal being, unable to differentiate between bad or good, and utilize our motion and ambition because the words “I cannot”automatically fixes itself in our mind and heart.

We must believe in ourselves that the season of failure is the best time for sowing the seeds of success. Always try no matter how many times we have failed. The earth may be shattered but keep on on telling ourselves: “I will do the best I can, and believe I can”. Definitely our effort and positive thinking towards ourselves will be crowned with success.

History shows us that victory can be achieved by self confidence. You may ask me how it happens. Well, we can see through our truly victorious person, though he may have failed many times, but kept on striving. Who else if not Mahatma Gandhi that I am talking about.

He believed himself that he can get freedom for his country INDIA and proudly said he did. The glorious day of independece dawned for INDIA on August 15, 1947. As we know, what Mahatma did is not an easy task. It takes strength, courage, patience and self confidence. His self confidence is what defeated the BRITISH; leading him to success.

Once Mahatma Gandhi said: “I am indeed, a practical dreamer. My dreams are not airy nothings. I want to convert my dreams into realities as far as possible, because I believe in myself that I can make my dream to become true.”

Remember: when we tend to say to ourselves that we can’t do this or that, we feel weak. Cast it out from our mind. Believe in ourselves, feel confident! Whatever we make up our mind to do, we can do. Nobody can stop us from accomplishing our true vision.
