| I'm not sure which draws me more to books by Ann Rice -- whether it's the stories
themselves (which I mostly do enjoy), or her writing, which at times can be as fluid as
music. Her grasp of language and descriptive writing, I think, is surpassed by no one.
Even if a reader doesn't like WHAT she writes, I don't think anyone can argue about HOW
she writes.
"Violin" is the story about two souls, one living and one dead, brought together by their
passion for music, and by their love for one instrument in particular.
One uses music to seek forgiveness; the other uses music to destroy...will they both be
healed in the end by the power of the Stradivarius?
