~~ for a dear friend who just turned 17th  and fallen in love with KAT-TUN~~
 
 

“Kamenashi-san!  Please do not move about on your own!”
I heard the nurse cried out as I stumbled about in darkness.
 

Yes...  Darkness...

After that car accident...
I could not longer see.

Only darkness existed in my world.

Regrets...
Of not listening to my parents’ warning...
Had I not steal out that night with Hasejun, I would have never met with that accident.
He was already drunk when he came to fetch me in his bike.

He sped... I think nothing of it then...
I had enjoyed the feeling of wind on my face...
Then... a loud horn sounded....
Bright carlights...temporarily blinded my vision....

I remembered flying forward...
And landed on ground....

The pain....
 
 
 

Hasejun....  He never visited me....
My mother would weep....
My father cursed and sweared....
Some closer classmates told me that he had transferred school after that accident....

It doesn’t matter...
To me...  He was already dead.
Once.. I thought we were the best of friends in the world...
Now I knew...  It doesn’t matter at all.

Life is boring after that accident....
My parents had to work....
Friends... also ceased to come after some time...

Everyday... I did the same thing...
Waking up to darkness... Sleeping to darkness....
The TV in my room will be on all the time...to give me something to listening to....
But what the use... I no longer can see...
Other days... I would sit by the window and ‘stare’ outside...
The laughter of children when they played outside.... would reach my ears....
Envious...
and let me realized....

The once colourful world... no longer belongs to me...
