A little child looks to the sky
Wishing he could run and fly
He reaches out his hand to me
I wish that I could let him see
How wonderful this world can be
That God is watching him and me
His flight will be is destiny
Soon, he will soar, way over me
But as he soars and climbs so free
Part of me flies with him, you see
The Lord entrusted me with his care
My heart flies with him, no matter where
Just trust in God in all you do
He will never turn his back on you
