| On this page, you will have a chance to sample my writing. In the future, I will be posting a segment from my current project, whatever that may be at the time. Keep checking back for updates. Thank you for your interest. | ||||||||||||||||
| I am truly sorry for the long delay in writing a new "segment" on this page. Thank you for your continued patience. If time would stand still for at least an hour, maybe I could catch up. Currently, I have been centering my attention around art. I have been working with a local oil painter, whom I much admire, so as to learn some techniques that surround painting. Check into my Gallery from time to time, and you will see my latest endeavore. Thank you, Nadia 5/19/06 What if...animals had feelings. And, what if they communicated with each other much like humans do. Those thoughts have crossed my mind more often than I care to admit, most recently being a short while before my beloved Diddles went into diabetic shock (October 4, 2007). Diddles and Shadow were laying on the couch, heads facing each other not more than four inches apart. Diddles reached out his paw to Shadow, and Shadow stretched his neck to lie closer, as if not wanting to miss a word Diddles was about to say. They stayed in that position for several minutes before Diddles jumped off the couch and headed toward a quiet place. I didn't think much of it at the time but, looking back, I know Diddles must have been telling Shadow good-bye. Shadow is in mourning, now. He doesn't understand where his friend, his mentor, his guide, his protector went. All I can do is try to stand in and fill the shoes Diddles left behind. No easy task, I must say.
