| Pretty scary, huh? Here, Pudge looks more like a Halloween cat than the 14 pound, cross-eyed baby that will flop down at your feet in the very spot you are trying to walk. He also loves to "supervise" any yard-work being done, which is nice, cuz he is full of wonderful "ideas".. | |||||||||||
| Here is a better picture of Pudge. If you look close (on the right) you will see his "brother", Sugar playing statue in my bonsi garden. The two boys were inseperable from the day Sugar was born. So when Sugar disappeared, Pudge was beside himself with grief from the loss, spending many hours searching for him. It is a myth that animals do not sense and feel loss. Pudge is living proof they do grieve. | |||||||||||
| On March 8, 2005, at 1 PM, Pacific Standard Time, we had to have Pudge put to sleep, due to various health ailments. He is now resting, no longer in pain. Pudge lived his entire twelve and a half years where he was born, and got to roam the property making sure everything was in place and that no intruders (meaning coyotes) entered into his domain. He was a total joy to be around and, thus, will be deeply missed. |
