| If you're wondering what's new with me, here's your update: I finished up finals on May 19th and will be getting my grades back soon. I'm pretty sure I passed, but I will keep my fingers crossed to be safe. So it is now summer for me, time to put down my medical studies and put on my swimsuit! My summer plans are as follows: 1. Get tan 2. Catch up on sleep 3. Play lots of poker with the boys and hopefully win some money! 4. Go on a road trip with J. This trip will hopefully encompass the Grand Canyon, parts of New Mexico, El Paso, Dallas, and Nashville, ending in Louisville for July 4th with his parents. 5. Work at St. Johns Hospital for 3-4 weeks to gain some experience in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Hematology/Oncology, and Neonatalogy. Basically I have no idea what type of medicine I'd like to do, so I'm gonna try a wide variety... 6. Watch lots of movies 7. Get in shape! Gotta get hot for the wedding in December... 8. Order my wedding invitations 9. Figure out my menu for our reception in January 10. Finalize wedding ceremony plans... 11. RELAX!!! 12. Read lots of non-medical fiction books!!! 13. Hang out with Jason 14. Move to Livonia! 15. Drink a few alcoholic beverages... 16. Catch up with friends 17. Recharge my batteries and get ready for the onslaught that will be termed "Year 2 of med school!" |

| Random Thoughts Has anyone played the drinking game where you watch the Lord of the Rings and drink every time a Hobbitt falls down? I have yet to try it, but I'm a huge fan and I loved all three movies. A big group of us is going to try watching all 3 extended versions back to back sometime. I was thinking of trying to see how long I can play the game before passing out.... |
