Flash is powerful program that
allows images to be morphed,
moved, and other wise transformed
in a digital format. Check out my tutorial below.

Move in a Circle.

Moving an object in a circle in flash can be a challenge even with following paths. The object will only go halfway around a closed circle path, or it will go the shortest distance between the start keyframe and the end keyframe. Here is how I created my circle paths

1. Make my object on screen, set my first and second key

frame. Right click on layer one and select motion tweening.

Both keyframes must have a motion tween connecting

them.

2. Right click the name of the layer to create a guide layer

above it.

3. On the guide layer create a circle, the size you want your

object to follow with the circle tool.

4. Add key frames to the beginning and end at the same

points as the objects keyframes.

5. Move back to object layer and place the object on the

circle at the starting place while the playback head is

placed on the first keyframe.

6. Then move the playback head to the second keyframe.

7. Move the object to a halfway point around the circle.

8. Test the object. Does it travel halfway around the circle?

If yes continue. If no go back and try again.

9. When your object is moving correctly copy it from the last

keyframe.

10. Move above the guide layer and create a new layer. Copy

the object onto the new layer above the last keyframe of

the object. Once it is copied place the object directly

above the first one.

11. Insert a keyframe right after the second keyframe. At this

keyframe remove the first object.

12. On the second object move the first keyframe up so that

when the first object disappears the second object takes

its place.

13. Set the second keyframe for the second object down the

same number of frames as the first object. These two

objects need to match.

14. Add motion tweening to this object.

15. Right click on the objects name to add a guide layer.

16. Copy from the first guide layer and place the second

guide layer over the first.

17. Place keyframes to match those of object two.

18. Now on the second keyframe of object two place the

object where the first object began.

19. Test

20. Turn off the eye of both guide layers.

Congratulations you have an object moving in a complete circle.
