Documentation of Development Process

This website is meant to showcase the work of Pete and provide a way for potential customers to contact Pete to book an appointment. Additionally, it serves to draw customers into the business. In the development process, I took the purprose into consideration and built the website as a platform for people to get in contact with the business. This is reflected through the Contact Us page, which connects customers to Pete to book an appointment, as well as the hours, location, and phone number. The portfolio page gives customers a look into Pete's work, so they may view the talent before booking.

Defense of Final Project

When making with website, it was important to meet that the design was easy to understand and was consistant across each page. Navigation was the main theme throughout each page, which is why the menu bar appears on every page on the website. This makes the webstie easy to navigate between. I also chose to use a San-Serif font, which makes the website text easy to read. The colors are also non-distracting, only adding a bit of style to make the website look more modern. I chose to work with blues and greys as they are neutral and compliment the photos on the portfolio page.

Opportunities for Improvement and Growth

If I had more time, I would have created a website that had a calendar where users could chose a timeslot and book right from the website. This would make it even easier to get in contact. There is also room to add more communication, by putting in a "Chat with Us" widget, where customers can ask questions in real time. I also would have liked to work more on refining the design of the website, by making it look a bit more modern.
