This is Chris. Where should I start with him? Sorry girls, he's one in a million. Even after all the time we've been together, Chris never fails to treat me like a queen. I love the thoughtful, concerned, and caring person that he is. I also think it is cool that God blessed me and trusted me with such an awesome person. I love how we are so different yet so much alike. We work good like that. He's just cool.
Chris is currently a senior at UGA and his major is in management in the business school. His passion is music, and he is constantly playing at church or with friends (
Adam). He is currently interning at Tree Sound Studios and works with some cool people. His dream would be to manage a band. He's a very talented musician too!
Chris has a twin brother and two very cool parents. Brian, his ferternal twin, goes to Columbus State. Lynn, Chris' mother, works full time at their church, Atkinson Road Baptist and his dad Steve drives all over the U.S. They also have a huge Bulldog named Pugsley.
  They are a fun family!

Chris is a pretty busy guy, yet he finds time to make me feel like I am more important than everything.  We began dating in highschool when I was a senior and he was a junior.
Here's the story:
Just to give a little idea of how romantic and thoughtful he is, I'll tell you how he first showed me interest. Chris and I were in Physics together my senior year... I was switched into the class two weeks after the semester had started which was odd anyway. Chris slowly made his way to my table and made casual conversation with Neil Stowe and I... besides the one time he asked what my favorite color rose was. (Which I responed to with "pink") Also take in mind we had never talked before this... we had some mutual friends... some that had a crush on him and others that were telling me that he had one on me. I didn't take it too seriously, I was enjoying just getting to know him.
Later, in October, I was on homecoming court and received flowers the morining of the dance. I thought they we from my Grandfather because of the homecoming parade the night before. I remember I was on the phone with someone when I read the card.."To God's most beautiful creation...Have a great time toKnight..Chris Green" (our mascot is the Knight) And moreover, they were a dozen pink roses! How surprized was I and anyone that I told. My family was shocked as much as I was. I didn't know if I should call him...what would I even say beyond thank you?  Well, thank you Chris, for making my life.
Anyhow, I said thanks at the dance when we actually got two seconds alone, and we danced a couple of times. It was all so fairytale like. And, amazing as it must sound, it still is. Chris never ceases to amaze me. This is totally just a glimpse of the all-around guy he is. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!!

October 24th 2002 was 5 years! nuts!

Engaged January 4, 2003 (1/4/03)
Latest news - we are engaged! Most people have already heard the engagement story... but here goes a short version! 143 is the code we use for "I love you" (number of letters in each word...1-4-3) and that was the date he had so creatively picked out. After a nice dinner at the Atlanta Fish Market, he said he wasn't feeling well. He's not much of a fish eater and I thought the smell might have been getting to him. On the way home, he asked me if I knew what day it was. I thought I had forgotton a special day or something. But he said he knew we weren't ready for engagement and he just thought it was a cool day (1/4/03) that wouldn't come around again and thought we could do back to where it started. So he drove to the place he first saw me, the L'ville ballpark where I was working the concession stand. As we walked up, there was a table set up with candles and a scrapbook he had made me. I was thinking, "geez, this is a lot for just it being 1/4/03." Well, the last picture was an 8x10 of him in the same outfit (he is so creative) kneeling with the ring. So, I turn and looked at him... all teared up... and he kneeled right there.  It wasn't your usual "Will you marry me" and "Yes." It was just the coolest feeling and knowing that this is my soulmate, and we are going to be together forever. 143 Chris.
