My name is Katie McClure, and I have recently been given the distinction of representing Georgina in the Miss Canada International pageant being held in Toronto in August. I will be the first ever Miss Georgina to be a Miss Canada delegate and as such I believe that this title represents the growing nature of Georgina. It also reflects the new fact of our town, as our citizens are being recognized for our positive achievements. I believe that this is a wonderful opportunity for both Georgina and accordingly local businesses.
