| For those of you who didn't already know, I have a mental twin I call Sarah-Feesh (that's our special way of spelling fish). Of course, she calls herself Sarah Colleen, but this is my page and not hers, so we'll all call her Sarah-Feesh. Sarah-Feesh and Katiekins first met through mutual friends during my senior year in high school (now it is her senior year in high school). But when we first met, we had no idea that we would become mental twins. In fact, Sarah-Feesh thought that I didn't really like her and was just pretending as to not insult our other friend. Then we had our first mental twin experience, or as we call them, a mental moment. It was right before school was going to dismiss for Winter Vacation and I was at All-A-Dollar (Utah's own Pick 'N' Save) to buy some gifts for my school friends. I turned the corner at the chocolate section, and there she was. Sarah-Feesh. She was also shopping for school gifts. We both pointed to each other and said, "I know you!" After we parted, we both felt really weird and thought, "I wasn't thinking about buying her anything because I don't know her all that well. But since I ran into her and everything, I probably should." Then, the next day at school, we had a very awkward gift exchange. Now, I know what you're thiking...this makes you mental twins? No, that's not the whole story, that's just the first mental moment. Other odd happenings happened (as all happenings happen to do) that let us know we must be linked somehow. We both listen to the same music (and anyone who knows my taste in music knows that is not common), are in love with Joey Lawrence, Peter Tork from the Monkees (of course, I like Micky too, so I gave her Peter. But I still love him), our own middle names, and the movie "Psycho" (no joke!). We even have similar obsessions with Rubber Duckies! This can be no coincidence. God brought us together. It has to be of a divine nature. So it only seemed natural to become eachother's boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, and wife. That's another odd happening story. After Sarah-Feesh had a dream that I married our friend Jakey-Cakes in a leopard print wedding dress and hot pink feather boa, she got jealous and confronted us at school. Jakey-Cakes felt bad and decided to marry us both. So naturally the conversation turned to, "What if I were to marry my husband's wife?" So Sarah-Feesh and I married eachother (which was a pretty good decision because two days later, Jakey-Cakes left us for Bob Dole). And thus, the mental cycle has continued and continues to continue and all that redundat garbage of redundantcy. Now you know all you need to know about Sarah-Feesh and I, so have fun hanging around, reading our misshaps and stories here in the mental corner. |
