The quest for the elusive dance game!
Monday 4:35 quest begins. The aim: To bring back copy of Dance stage party edition before shutting time at 5.
25 mins remaining first leg home - game:
We battled our way across the streets of middlebrough defeating all petrol power monsters that came our way. Then just as we drew close to our goal we were ambushed by a vicous double decker capture matchine. Andi struck it hard with her sythe and I attacked with my chainsaw and eventually the fearsome creature was taken down and it's human passengers (sorry captives) were released. We were vicorious and entered Game unharmed but oh no! No dance game they've sold out. Our quest must continue we must succeed!
15 mins remaining second leg game to HMV:
This the shortest leg was full of danger as we had to do battle with the dangerous beings called christmas shoppers. Defeated old lady with handbag and dangerous man with umbrella but oh no! Just as we were about reach our goal we were attacked by a girl with a barbie doll the hight of evil. I distracted the kid using myself as bait while andi decapitated doll with her sythe and we arrive safely at our destination. But oh no! Sold out here too! Our quest must continue still.
10 mins remaining third leg HMV to WHsmiths:
Our quest becomes evermore dangerous as we journey right to the centre of the dangerous terrain called a shopping centre. More christmas shoppers ambush us, baby with rattle was very dangerous indeed but we pervailed even though I ended up with a nasty bruise.
We defeated a number of these dangerous beings but just as we were about to reach WHsmiths we were ambushed by a truly terrifying beast. Oh yes the little girl we had defeated had a brother and one with terrifying power. Oh yes he was armed with the most deadly of weapons a water pistol but we will not give in we will defeat him! Oh no he fires at us and we dive frantically out of the way but wait he's aiming again! After a lot of diving about we become disheartend what could possibly beat such a tremendos power? Then inspiration strikes and I hijack a babies push chair from a dangerous mother. We aim we charge! Crash! Bang! The boy lays defeated we are victorious once again! We enter WHsmiths but oh no! Still no dance game! Will our quest fail? Time is running out!
5 mins remaining forth leg WHsmiths to Chips:
The most dangerous leg of all and our last hope. We had to battle back through the shopping centre and the dangerous christmas shoppers. Returning back outside we find ourselves once more in danger of being attacked but the vicous petrol monsters. We defeat baby monster called a mini but then just as we approach our destination we are attacked by a huge mummy petrol monster carrying baby monsters on her back. Slash! cut! Crash! We defeat mummy monster but oh no! The baby monsters have been set free. They drive off back and attempt to swarm us. What can we do? Are we finished? I will not give in I will not be defeated! I leap on baby car and drive chainsaw through bonnet and with a spark and cloud of smoke it was defeated but the other babies angered by our attack still come at us. They get closer and closer what can we do? Then I have wonderful idea at last posible second Andi and I jump high into the air. With a crash and plume of smoke the baby monsters collide. They are all defeated and we enter our last destination and last hope. And yes! They have only one copy left! We have succeeded! A copy of Dance stage party edition is now ours. Battered, bruised but victorious we return home to enjoy the spoils. Yay!
