Prospect Cemetery 1662 159th St on York College grounds First public burial ground of Jamaica. (The wealthy were buried under the church, less affluent in church yards, and the rest were buried in Prospect Cemetery.) Designated as a city landmark in 1977.
The Vander Ende Onderdonk House
Site of 17th century home, present home is dated 1709. 1820 Flushing Avenue betwen Cypress and Onderdonk Ave., Ridgewood. Dutch colonial farmhouse on site of previously built farmhouse dated in 17th century. Present building probably built in 1709.
